Pear Custard Pie

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Pears firm, but ripe
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease your pie dish.
  • Thinly slice each pear (about a 1/4 inch thick). Layer the bottom of the pie dish with the sliced pears, slightly overlapping the pears. (The pears can be peeled or left with the skin on)
  • Add all the remaining ingredients to a food processor or blender and mix until fully combined.
  • Pour the custard mixture over the pears and bake for approximately 40 minutes or until the custard is fully baked and set (should be firm to the touch and golden brown on top).
